May 15-22, 2017 Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

A short 26 mile drive to a location 1 mile east of our previous one... just to go around the bay... Staying at Delaware Seashore State Park, right next to the beach in Rehoboth Delaware. This is the first state park we have stayed in on this trip.  It's a basic park, but a great location...

After a couple of days of cold and windy weather, it got a little warm, so we took off to the beach!

Some of these fishermen are serious!

The town of Rehoboth Beach has a wide, but not very long boardwalk. Despite it being a little cold, the beach was crowded!!!

Back at our beach for the afternoon...
As soon as it got warmer, biting black flies invaded the beach. And they LOVE Texans!! Some locals said they seemed to be pretty bad this year.

The warmer weather was nice while it lasted... cold temperatures, high wind, and rain came back for our last couple of days... This is a very nice area, we will definitely come back...

Now on to New Jersey!!!
