Short drive from El Mirage to Lake Havasu. The lake lies on the Arizona border with California. Stayed at Havasu Springs Resort south of the town of Lake Havasu. Not a very nice park. This park is old and not well kept, sites are very close together and not level and there are boats stored everywhere. We were very disappointed with this park.
The area is nice, but if you don't have a boat, there is not a lot to do. A couple of days would be enough to visit the area.
They have the London Bridge in town, which was dismantled in London and reassembled here. While interesting, it doesn't take much to see...
Wild donkeys roam the California side of the lake.
