This bridge was removed and a new paved bridge was installed. The covered bridge sits on the side of the road in the vicinity of the new bridge...

During a flood in 1927 the bridge floated away from here and ended up a mile away. In the winter of 1927-1928 the town moved it back to its former location where it sits today.

We came to Vermont primarily to watch the foliage turn... this has not happened yet... so... we are extending our stay to wait for the foliage... So there will be more posts from here!!!
