April 10-17, 2017 Broadway, Virginia

If you cannot find Broadway in the map, look for Harrisonburg, VA. This campsite is in the woods just down hill from Shenandoah National Park.  Nice, quiet KOA...

We had a problem with the electricity at our site so we spent our 4th night without power. Luckily, it was cool enough to sleep with the windows open. The next day, they could not fix it quickly so we moved to another site... Kind of a pain to move, but worth it because we got a nicer site with a big area for Toby to roam around in! We even had a rooster wake us up early the next morning!

HARRISONBURG, VA
Harrisonburg is just south of Broadway. A very nice, very clean small town with four colleges including James Madison University.

SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK
I hiked most of the Shenandoah NP with Michael in 2014. This was in July and everything was green. This visit is in early April and the trees are still in winter mode... Not as pretty as in the summer... but we enjoyed the drive...

Even Toby had a great time!!!

Spring is in the air!!!

The Tobes Master
When we are at the RV sitting outside, he loves to bark at other dogs and, for some reason, golf carts. We decided to use treats when anyone else was walking by to get his attention and reinforce good (quiet) behavior.  It seemed to work, most of the time.  He got several treats and still got a few barks in while he was "training" us!
