Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg
These two towns are like a small Las Vegas for kids... There are rides, theme stores, family restaurants, etc... We have never seen so many Pancake restaurants anywhere! Shops, shops and more shops. Not the kind of town I would like to live in, and only visit because the Smoky Mountains are here. Dollywood is nearby, but we are over these parks... Here are some pictures of the towns...

Gatlinburg:
Smoky Mountains National Park
Took a drive on the Smoky Mountains NP... very nice!
We made some new friends...
The sink... a swimming hole carved out by the river...
Knoxville, TN
Took a drive to Knoxville about 45 minutes away... It just so happened that they were having "Mardi Growl" a Mardi Grass parade of dogs... and we had Toby with us!!! Needless to say this was our day... fun, fun, fun...
My brother from another mother...
After a hard parade day... a well deserved lunch!!!
Cades Cove in Smoky Mountains NP
Cades Cove is about 1 hour drive inside the park. It was a community in the early 1800's... impressive and beautiful, but hard to make it here back then!!!
