Jekyll Island is a short drive from Brunswick. More of a tourist attraction than St. Simons. You have to pay an entry fee to get on the island. More sparsely populated aside from a fair amount of hotels and one RV Park. We rode our bikes and saw some great scenery. A beautiful place...
Driftwood Beach is a must see!!!
Out little friend "Don Driftwood"...
ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA
An hour and a half drive south is St. Augustine. It is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement within the borders of the continental United States. Lots of historical buildings, churches and a Fort, Castillo de San Marcos...
And of course... lots of shopping...
Nice place to visit...
St. SIMONS ISLAND, GEORGIA
Spent a few hours riding bikes again at the beach... Toby again, did not want to ride, but rather run!!!
JEKYLL ISLAND, GEORGIA
One last day relaxing in the beach. Jekyll Island is very quiet this time of year...
